- Catherine Graydon Added 2017-12-23★ ★ ★ ★ ★Awesome vantage point to view the city skyline, old town, and the bay with the houseboats, along with learning a bit of history about bush pilots in Yellowknife. Be aware though that the monument is on a hilltop so there are many stairs to climb to get to the top but the view is worth it. Very nice place to be for sunrises, sunsets, auroras, and night skies. Make sure to bring your camera.
